This is the "End of Trail" wall sculpture based on a work by James Earle Frasier. It is a poignant metal art sculpture depicting a warrior at the end of the trail. It is cut from 16 GA steel and finished in either black enamel or beautiful flame coloring. With the flame coloring, the steel is first polished and then slowly heated by hand with a torch and the various natural colors of the steel are brought out. They range from a straw color to a steel gray. The piece is then clear coated to preserve this natural beauty. The "End of Trail" piece is 22.5" x 22.5" and can be hung directly on a wall or put into a frame (not included). It looks fabulous on a light colored wall and is a wonderful piece that will generate many comments.

Boston Light is a lighthouse located on Little Brewster Island in outer Boston Harbor, Massachusetts. The current lighthouse dates from 1783, is the second oldest working lighthouse in the United States (after Sandy Hook Lighthouse in New Jersey), and is the only lighthouse to still be actively staffed by the United States Coast Guard, being automated in 1998 though there is still a keeper acting as tour guide. The structure was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964.

This piece is cut from 16 GA steel and painted with several coats of epoxy primer and acrylic urethane enamel for a long lasting finish. The colors on this piece are white, gray, red, and black.

Nubble Lighthouse

 14 x 20 - $69.00

17 x 24 - $89.00

Cape Neddick Lighthouse is a lighthouse in Cape Neddick, York, Maine. In 1874 Congress appropriated $15,000 to build a light station at the "Nubble" and in 1879 construction began. Cape Neddick Light Station was dedicated by the U.S. Lighthouse Service and put into use in 1879. It is still in use today.

Plans had been in the works to build a lighthouse on the site since 1837. The tower is lined with brick and sheathed with cast iron. It stands 41 feet (12 m) tall but the light is 88 feet (27 m) above sea level because of the additional height of the steep rocky islet on which it sits. Unusually, the stanchions of the walkway railing around the lantern room are decorated with 4-inch (100 mm) brass replicas of the lighthouse itself.

East Quoddy Lighthouse

11 x 20 - $69.00

14 x 24 - $99.00

Note: These items are hand painted and may vary

 slightly from the picture shown

East Quoddy Light is located at the northern point of Campobello Island. The tower is a wooden octagonal shaped tower. The original lantern room was wood but was replaced by the current cast iron lantern room in 1887. The lighthouse and adjacent buildings sit on a small outcropping of rocks which is accessible by foot for a very short span of time at low tide. You have approximately 1.5 hours to make the crossing to the lighthouse and get back before the tide starts coming in. Once the tide is in you can be stranded for the 8 hour duration of the tide. During the Napoleonic Wars, when Britain and the United States were at economic war, the town of Eastport, Maine grew rapidly as a smuggling center. Campobello Island, on which Head Harbour Lighthouse was built (part of New Brunswick, but only 12 km away from Maine's coast), also became a trade center. During the 1820s, trade flourished and traffic grew between Campobello Island and the Maine Coast. Former American President Franklin D. Roosevelt spent his childhood summers and contracted polio on Campobello Island.
